Separation Rumour 013*

Wolf

Wanted: separation device with 6 letters!

The world’s first crossword puzzle was created by the Liverpool-born journalist Arthur Wynne and published in the supplement to the New York World newspaper in 1913. It included 31 clues and was presented in a diamond shape without any black squares. Today’s crosswords come in many different styles and forms. The “clue-in-square” type puzzle is probably the best known variation in Germany. We have set you a so-called cross grid. Your task is to enter the words horizontally in the right combination so that the word we are looking for appears vertically in the marked squares. We have helped you out a little by filling in some letters in advance.

Bring your solution for the “separation device with 6 letters” along to the ACHEMA in Frankfurt. There will be a small gift for everyone who has completed the grid correctly!

*wolftechnik specialises in the separation of solid and fluid substances. Under the topic “Separation Rumours“, we will in future provide you with entertaining and informative news, common lore and sometimes freely invented separation rumours – not only from wolftechnik.
